The song and video are about the messiness that comes with the end of a relationship. Surrounded by memories of a love you shared, you begin to doubt the decision to end things. The video is co-directed by Overcoats and Sharif El Neklawy, portraying a tense yet romantic conversation between two people. Overcoats are the storytellers, while also “breaking character” dancing in choreographed interludes. Filmed in a home containing many antiques, the band had some fun leaving various clues in the scene about the song’s narrative.
